F.A.C.T.S. GUEST - John McCrea
John McCrea was born in Belfast in 1966. His first real professional job was on the cartoon adaptation of “the Centurions”. More work soon followed on Action Force (British GI Joe), BLAAAM!, and he eventually got his way into 2000 AD, drawing a few Future Shocks stories.
The big break came in 1988, when he started with writer Garth Ennis 'Troubled Souls'. This successful cooperation continued and other titles followed: For a Few Troubles More, Judge Dredd, the Demon and 'Hitman',....
John has also worked with other talented writers including Alan Grant, Doselle Young, Mark Millar, Warren Ellis and Ron Zimmerman.
He’s now working mainly for D.C. Comics and Marvel. He lives in Birmingham, England.
