The convention F.A.C.T.S. is organised once a year by Con-Fuse, an organisation which promotes Science Fiction, Comics, Fantasy and Japanese animation.
F.A.C.T.S. has grown from a small amateur gathering in a small pub into the biggest convention in its kind in the Benelux with yearly thousands of happy visitors.

Thanks to a more elaborated advertisement campaign (the use of flyers is introduced) the event gains popularity and about 10 dealers subscribe for F.A.C.T.S. II. We decide to move to another location, Centrum Ten Berg in St.-Amandsberg, where the convention has a room of 200 m² at its disposal.
Apparently the flyers and mouth to mouth advertisement have the desired effect since the number of visitors quadruples: on 13 November 1993 the second edition of F.A.C.T.S. proudly welcomes 170 enthusiastic fans! In “De Gentenaar” (Ghent newspaper) for the first time an article on F.A.C.T.S. is published.
